Financial Data Analyst in Bookkeeping Services LLC

As a Financial Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Internal Financial Analytics team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of internal business intelligence to our Finance and Leadership teams.

We are looking for someone who might have experience with Sales Pipelines, data modeling, and revenue recognition, who can use and reconcile large data sources and help us make sure our revenue is accurate.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Data Pipeline and Reporting:
• Write and maintain data pipelines, utilizing multiple internal data sources.
• Build and support business intelligence models for downstream reporting and analysis.
• Analyze financial, product, and operational data to provide actionable insights and build understanding.
• Communicate findings effectively in both written and verbal formats, synchronously and asynchronously.
• Collaboration and Process Improvement:
• Expand sales of our current data pipeline and architecture offerings. Partner with Sales and Operations leadership to build the analytics strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure internal and external reporting is in-line with contractual terms and verify accuracy of billings.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
• Dashboard and Reporting:
• Create and maintain dashboards that report on company-wide metrics.
• Develop insights into business performance and build monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Act as a thought partner to leadership, particularly senior Sales leaders, and other Operation leaders cross-functionally.

Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

• Basic knowledge of Accounting/US GAAP, ASC606 revenue recognition
• Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software for data analysis.
• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with internal team members, vendors, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable working remotely and maintaining communication within the team during regular working hours (9-5 pm EST) with some flexibility.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

We are looking for someone who can have experience with sales pipelines, data modeling and revenue recognition, who can use and reconcile large data sources and help us ensure that our revenues are accurate.

Your main duties will include:

Conveyor data and reporting:

Writing and maintaining data feeds using multiple internal data sources.

Create and maintain business intelligence models for further reporting and analysis.

Analysis of financial, product and operational data to further provide actionable and understandable information.

Effective communication of results both in writing and orally, synchronously and asynchronously.

Collaboration and process improvement:

Grow sales of our current offerings in data pipelines. Collaborate with sales and operations leadership to develop analytics strategies and roadmaps.

Checking internal and external reporting against contract terms and checking billing accuracy.

Designing, implementing and improving internal processes, such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.

Dashboard and reporting:

Create and maintain dashboards that report on company-wide performance.

Development of insight into business performance and creation of monthly and quarterly reporting.

Acting as a thought partner to management, particularly to senior sales leaders and other cross-functional operational leaders.

Skills and qualifications:
