Financial Controller in Upstaff

We seek a Financial Controller for a European investment and consulting company specializing in financing and managing legal processes in international export-import disputes with CIS countries.

We are looking for someone who is already in or ready to move to Budapest. The position involves a permanent presence in the office, and official employment is possible.

Responsibilities:

• Collection, maintenance, and analysis of financial accounting data in a group of companies.
• Preparation of annual financial statements of a group of companies.
• Internal cash flow management and financial control.
• Financial planning of projects and control of their implementation.
• Preparation of individual financial statements for shareholders.

Requirements:

• Higher education in economics, finance, or related fields, knowledge of financial analysis, planning, and budgeting.
• Experience as an economist for at least 3 years.
• Professional user of 1C or BAS Small business, deep knowledge of functionality, experience in introducing operations, including transferring data from a bank.
• Experience in developing technical specifications for refining and optimizing the functionality of 1C or BAS and communicating with IT specialists to implement improvements.
• Experience in preparing annual and interim financial statements for a group of companies.
• Experience working with banks, introducing payments, and with Swift, Payoneer, and other payment systems.
• Experience in drawing up budgets and monitoring budget implementation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ability to use complex functions and formulas, experience working with data arrays, and using logical functions to analyze information.

Desirable:

• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
• A proactive, systematic, and structured approach to collecting, analyzing financial information, and making project decisions.
• Ability to analyze complex data and draw informed conclusions.
• Knowledge of Russian/Ukrainian languages.
