Our client, a high-tech and dynamic company in the defense industry of Ukraine, is looking for a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER to join the team.

The purpose of the role:To build and ensure the company's management accounting, to ensure transparency of financial indicators, production costs. Hands-on role.

  • Production cost controlling
  • Calculation of the full cost of production
  • Expense control production
  • Budgeting (OPEX / CAPEX)
  • Control of receivables and payables
  • Consolidation of financial data
  • Advanced Excel, Google Sheets
  • Experience in ERP (1C / Odoo)

Education: Higher financial / economic

Professional experience:

  • From 5 years of experience in the financial function
  • Experience in a manufacturing company is a must
  • Experience of independent formation of management reporting
  • Practical experience of cost calculation
  • Experience of budgeting and controlling
  • Experience of working without a team / independent management

Functional responsibilities:

  • Building and implementing a management financial accounting system in the company, including the formation of regular management reporting (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance) for the CEO.
  • Development and implementation of the structure of financial analytics: determination of cost centers and profit centers, formation of a financial reporting structure and ensuring transparency of business financial indicators.
  • Organization of the budgeting process in the company: preparation annual budget, participation in the planning of divisional budgets, formation of financial forecasts and control of budget implementation.
  • Conducting regular plan-fact analysis of financial indicators, identifying deviations, preparing analytics and recommendations for management on optimizing costs and improving activity efficiency.
  • Implementation and development of the production controlling system: calculation and analysis of production costs, control of production costs, analysis of work in progress, assessment of marginality products.
  • Control of the working capital of the company, including the analysis of receivables and payables, control of the level of warehouse stocks and analysis of the circulation of goods and material values.
  • Formation and monitoring of the cash flow forecast (Cash Flow), analysis of cash gaps and preparation of financial information for management decisions.
  • Analysis of the profitability of products, customers and sales channels, preparation analytics on the effectiveness of the company's commercial activities (B2B, B2G, export sales).
  • Preparation of financial calculations and analytics for strategic business decisions, including the launch of new products, cost optimization, scaling of operations and entry into new markets.
  • Participation in the implementation of financial procedures, internaltheir regulations to increase the transparency and manageability of the financial function.
  • Interaction with the accounting department in order to ensure the correctness of financial data and the transformation of accounting information into managerial financial reporting.
