Murka Games is an international game development company that has been successfully producing games for over a decade. We seek a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the organization’s financial success.

• Preparing and presenting financial reports, managing reports and ad-hoc analyses;
• Assisting with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes;
• Coordinating with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process;
• Working closely with outsourced tax and accountant specialists to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions;
• Handling day-to-day activities related to compliance matters;
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities;
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations for executive management and external stakeholders;
• Monitoring industry trends, regulations and best practices in FP&A.

Requerments:

• Passion for reporting, budgeting, analytics, work in Excel and automatizations;
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus;
• Demonstrated experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm for a minimum of 2 years, with a strong understanding of auditing processes;
• ACCA qualification: Performance Management (PM) and Financial Reporting (FR) must be completed;
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulae;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret financial data;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
• Working proficiency level in English and Ukrainian or Russian, both spoken and written.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis;
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve financial data from databases.
