IGM Technology is a Canadian company which provides a SaaS solution designed to automate manual aspects of the Financial Close Process with our modules: Disclosure Management, Lease Accounting, Budget Management, Account Reconciliations and Debt Management.

THE OPPORTUNITY

IGM Technology is looking for an accountant to join a team that is leading implementation projects of accounting processes automation for our customers. You will help our customers to get the most out of our solutions and will proactively foster and grow relationships with them.

We are seeking a reliable, adaptable individual with a proven record of delivering results under pressure who will thrive as both a team player and as an individual contributor.

Candidates with experience in lease accounting will be treated preferentially throughout the application process.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to an Accounting Manager, Professional Services, the Accountant will:

● Participate in implementations to ensure that projects are implemented according to an agreed-upon

timeline.

● Collect, review and analyze data and documents.

● Have a great understating of our customers’ needs, their business processes and organizational

structure.

REQUIREMENTS

● Accountant with at least 2 years of experience

● International accounting firm experience will be highly preferred

● Excellent business English is a must

● Degree in Accounting

● Excellent interpersonal skills

● A team player than can also work independently

● “Can do” positive attitude

● Critical judgement

● Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills, ability to listen

● Strong problem-solving skills

● High sense of operational excellence, disciplined working, and effective time management
