SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine isthe part ofthe global federation ofSOS Children’s Villages International (SOS CV). Asanon-governmental social development organization, wesupport children without parental care and families indifficult living conditions through services incare, education, health and emergency relief, and weadvocate for the rights ofchildren and young people, inalliance with agreat diversity ofpartners. For the new long-term project, inalliance with Danish partner organizations, weare going topilot amodel for rebuilding sustainable child- and youth care inUkraine. The project will consist of «hard» and «soft» components, which includes the construction and social parts. For the financial support inrealization ofthis project weare looking for anexperienced and committed Finance Manager (f/m) Location: Ukraine Type ofcontract: Employment contract Duration: about 4 years starting from 2024 Requirements: University degree inFinance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics. Atleast 3−5 years ofexperience asanaccountant, finance manager (experience ininternational organisations will beanadvantage). Excellent knowledge ofthe current accounting and tax legislation. Proficient user ofBAS CORP. Experience inbudgeting and document management (including electronic databases Vchasno, MEDok). Confident user ofPC and office software (Excel isamust!). Knowledge ofEnglish (oral and written) atanabove upper intermediate level. Adherence toreporting deadlines. Ability towork with large amounts ofinformation and multitask. Ability towork both inateam and independently. Integrity, professionalism, responsibility, analytical thinking. Main tasks and responsibilities: Control ofproject expenditures inaccordance with the budget allocation. Manage and allocate all project finances with afocus onorganisational financial planning, accounting and budget administration. Сlose cooperation with the Project Manager and the organization`s CFO. Ensure proper implementation and execution ofadministrative and financial procedures. Timely preparation ofinterim and final financial reports for the project. Coordination oftreasury functions (including advance payments). Maintaining accounting records inBAS, Microsoft Navision software. Participates inthe procurement ofnecessary services, materials, equipment, etc. within the project, incompliance with the requirements ofthe SOS internal procedures. Ensures regular reporting onthe financial situation.
