The Field Operations Associate is assisting the field coordinator / operations manager in daily organizational activities which typically involves a fair number of multitasking roles throughout the departments in the field which includes HR, Administration, Logistic and Program departments. He /she doesn't have managerial responsibilities, but rather supporting his line manager and the related departments.
Tasks and duties of the Employee:
- Assist the Field Coordinator / Operations Manager in the daily management of the activities.
- Together with the Field Coordinator / Operations Manager assist and/or help him/her in organizing inductions and/or trainings for new employees
- Provide suggestions to his/her line manager on how to improve operations.
- Enforce organization's rules and regulations.

- Maintain schedule of important operations of the activities related to programs and/or support and if necessary, make reminders to the teams.
- Participate in and take notes during the weekly, monthly, and/or any other coordination meetings.
- Regularly transmits highlights, notes, information’s related to his/her line manager.
- Contribute to the preparation of status and progress reports by providing info, preparing tables, etc.
- In coordination with his/her line manager, meet with management of the different departments to determine the organization's needs.
- Follow-up and updating of contact lists (authorities, NGO’s, staff, other).
- If necessary, participate in the field visits together with his/her line manager and/or other departments involved.
- Perform other management orders as necessary.
- Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
- Complies with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines.
Specific Knowledge:

- Desired skills in logistic;
- Knowledge of logistics and proficiency in IT is an advantage;

- Languages:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent in Ukrainian, both written and spoken.
Competencies and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with relevant certificates and licenses
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position from which at least 6 months in an international NGO.
- IT-Computer Literacy with higher degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and local language.
