Under the supervision of the Senior Field Officer and Field Operations Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the REACH team on field coordination, external relations, and assessment activities.
FUNCTIONS
The Field Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
· Provide overall coordination for the implementation of data collection activities.
· Liaise with ACTED/IMPACT FLAT, Coordination and Security in terms of data collection activities.
· Engage with local authorities and other relevant stakeholders on communication of all IMPACT/REACH related activities.
· Manage data collection teams during data collection activities.
· Fill in enumerators’ appraisals forms.
· Support design of questionnaires and testing in the field.
· Provide feedback on questionnaire and adequacy in local language.
· Monitoring of all field related activities including reporting.
· Follow up on feedback from the data team on questionnaire during data cleaning.
· Plan capacity building events based on requests from partners.
· Represent IMPACT/REACH at coordination forums.
· Engage with local and regional actors.
· Present IMPACT/REACH assessment findings and act as a focal point for local authorities.
· Follow up with other IMPACT/REACH Units and Teams members on requests from local authorities.
· Facilitate events with authorities during dissemination campaign.
· Any other tasks assigned by line manager.
