Field Office Team Leader Ukraine Shostka in Norwegian Refugee Council / NRC

The Croatian Refugee Council (NRC)is an independent, humanitarian non-governmental organization founded in 1946. We provide assistance, protect the rights and contribute to solving the problems of refugees, internally displaced persons and other persons affected by armed conflict.  NRC began its activities in Ukraine at the end of 2014, supporting people affected by the conflict in the east of the country. We are now increasing our efforts in Ukraine and neighboring countries to provide assistance to people forced to flee their homes due to war. 

We are looking for a Field Office Team Leaderin the Northern Regional Office in Shostka.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Line management of the team of the NRC field office in Shostka
• Support in the expansion of the NRC field office in Shostka
• Ensure proper and timely implementation of NRC procedures, rules and regulations in the local office in Shostka
• Day-to-day management of personnel and administrative issues, finances and logistics of the field office
• Support in training and development of personnel
• Support in the implementation of projects at the field office level
• Facilitating effective integration and coordination between the field office and visiting program teams from Chernihiv and Kyiv
• Coordinating representative meetings with partners and local authorities

Requirements:

• Previous support experience in a humanitarian/rehabilitation context
• Previous management experience< /li>
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian, both spoken and written
• Working level of English, both written and oral
• Good knowledge of the Ukrainian context, in particular the northern part of the Sumy region

We offer:

• Employment contract until December 31, 2024 (with the possibility of extension)
• Official salary and health insurance
• Working schedule: 9.00-17.00, Saturday, Sunday - weekends
