This role will be responsible for coordinating the budget and finances for programs and projects within Ukraine through activities such as accounting, expenditures, bookkeeping, and payroll. We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.In the role of Field Accountant, you will have the opportunity to:Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for HimMaintain detailed and accurate records for all financial transactions in an organized and professional mannerRecord all cash, check and bank transfer transactions, maintain cash and bank ledgers, monitor cash advances and field expense reports, and reconcile cash on handProvide required monthly financial reports by specified deadlines to the Finance ManagerEnsure adequate cash flow for operations and safety of financial resources at baseAdminister all cash advances to employees and partners, reconciling all receipts and remaining cash at months endWork closely with and support fellow financial staff, the Finance Manager, and program staffEnsure contracts are current on all rental properties, facilities, and vehiclesIdentify areas for financial and administrative improvement and work to implement feasible improvementsAll other duties as assignedLearn more about serving with Samaritans Purse.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
