"Tenth of April" is a public organization that implements the UNHCR program aimed at improving the protection of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the population affected by the conflict, by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promoting legislative changes, involving communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with and with the support of the authorities potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities:

The facilitator, in close cooperation with the Area Coordinator, implements educational, information and coordination activities in the Bolgrad community of the Odesa region, namely:

• Conducting an awareness raising campaign in community and organization of referral for the population in situations related to gender-based violence. 
• Distribution of informational materials on the prevention and countermeasures of domestic violence and opportunities to receive services in the community. 
• Informing the community about available services and events through word of mouth announcements, messages on accessible social networks and during face-to-face meetings.
• Interacting with local authorities, community organizations and other stakeholders to receive updates on new or changed services.
• Organizing short informal information sessions for small groups of people.
• Developing a service map of organizations that provide services with Social security in the community

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the humanitarian field (not less than a bachelor’s degree)
• Experience of working in public organizations or helping the affected population
• Understanding the basic principles of working with social security and willingness to improve knowledge in this area
• Communication, the ability to quickly find a common language with people of different ages categories and with different needs.
• Free volnews in Ukrainian. 
• Computer skills (must be MS Office).
• Empathy and the ability to provide emotional support in difficult situations.
• Willingness to provide services under a CPC contract or a civil law contract.
