Community Work Facilitator
The ROKADA Charitable Foundation, an executive partner of the UN Refugee Agency, announces a competition for the position of Community Work Facilitator to work with internally displaced persons and affected population groups.
This role is about constant contact with people and communities. About the ability to listen, notice risks, find solutions together. The work involves close interaction with IDPs, centers for the provision of social services, TsNAPs, social protection agencies, children's services, education departments, as well as with public, human rights, charitable and volunteer organizations that work with IDPs.

Main tasks:
– identification of protection risks and vulnerable individuals and groups in communities;
– referral of vulnerable individuals and cases to protection partners for a full assessment of needs and further assistance in accordance with the existing map of services;
– provision of information and counseling of communities regarding the organization’s services;
– distribution of informational materials among individuals and communities in general;
– participation in the work of initiatives the creation of groups and committees of IDPs, if possible.
Main requirements:
– knowledge of the problems of internally displaced persons; experience working with communities, IDPs and/or vulnerable groups will be an advantage;
– awareness of local needs, having a wide range of contacts in the community will be an advantage;
– previous experience in social services, in the role of a mediator, trainer, program coordinator, etc.—an advantage;
– fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages, knowledge of English—an advantage;
– ability to work independently in compliance with defined deadlines and at the same time in close cooperation with the team;
– good analytical skills and attention to details;
– basic level of literacy;
– developed communication skills, listening skills;
– sincerity, honesty, good reputation;
– presence of stable social ties in the community;
– observance of basic humanitarian principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence;
