Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights" within the implementation of the project "Supporting children and youth with experience of being in alternative forms of care" announces a competition for the selection of facilitators for the strategic session to be held on February 6-7, 2026 in Kyiv.
Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine, and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.
Goal: to ensure the strategic planning process for the Office of Children and Youth "DIiMO" to decide what they can and want to do in the Office, and together planned further work by direction.
Tasks:
- organization, preparation and conducting of the facilitated process of the strategic session of the Office of Children and Youth "DIiMO";
- creation of a safe work format that takes into account the experience and vulnerability of young people and prevents re-traumatization;
- use of facilitation tools that ensure equal participation of all participants and the transition from discussions to agreed decisions;
- systematization of the decisions made during the session and their design in the form of a structured document, as well as preparation and provision of recommendations for further organization of community work.
Format:
- offline format in Kyiv;
- number of participants: up to 25 people;
- date: February 6-7 2026;
- duration of work: 2 full days.
- target audience: young people aged 16–33 from the community of the Office of Children and Youth "DIiMO".
Requirements for candidates:
- higher education;
- at least 2 years of experience in conducting strategy sessions;
- experience in conducting strategy sessions for (or with the participation of) children and youth;
- experience in working with young people with different life experiences;
- knowledge of the principles of safe, inclusive and non-discriminatory work with young people;
- skills in working with group dynamics, complex emotions and conflicts situations;
- experience in using interactive methods (work in small groups, facilitated discussions, game formats, exercises, idea mapping, visualization, prioritization, group planning);
- experience in preparing structured final documents based on the results of strategic sessions and formulating practical recommendations.
