We are holding a competition for the position of "Manager of international relations" to the team of the Coordinating Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care.
The coordination center is a consulting body of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, whose task is to coordinate the efforts of the government, international and public organizations for the development of the child care system based on global and European practices, which will meet the urgent needs of Ukraine and the long-term goals of accession to the European Union. Main Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with international organizations, foreign embassies, donors and relevant stakeholders to advance the Center's goals and expand opportunities for collaboration.
Monitor and analyze global trends, policies and initiatives in the field of child care and family education, provide timely information to the Center's management. p>Represent the Center at international conferences, seminars and high-level meetings, defending the interests of children and sharing the best practices from the experience of Ukraine.
Identify potential opportunities for funding and partnerships to support projects and initiatives Center, contributing to the mobilization of resources.
Cooperate with other teams of the Center in order to integrate international perspectives and experience in the development of child protection system policies.
Preparation of quality reports, briefings and communication materials about the activities and achievements of the Center for international stakeholders.
Support the organization of international events, seminars and events with capacity building, facilitating knowledge sharing and learning between various stakeholders.
Assist in the organization and coordination of international missions and visits by foreign delegations to the Center and its affiliated child care facilities in Ukraine.
Be aware of diplomatic protocols and etiquette, ensuring smooth interaction with diplomatic missions and international partners.
Requirements for candidates:
Education: master's degree in international relations, public policy, political science, international development, or related specialties.
li>More than 10 years of progressively responsible experience, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in international relations, diplomacy, or international development, with a focus on childcare, child protection, or social welfare an added advantage.
Experience in building and maintaining productive relations with international organizations and diplomatic missions.
Experience in preparing quality reports, brifings and presentations for an international audience.
English — Advanced level.
Fluency in Ukrainian language.
In-depth understanding of global childcare policies, international frameworks and best practices related to child protection and family well-being.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to effectively interact with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.
Proactive and results-oriented approach to work, ability to find and use opportunities for strategic partnership and collaboration.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and under tight deadlines.
Dedication to promoting the welfare of children and promoting the transformation of the child care system in Ukraine.
