English writer in Fond Shidna Evropa

The Eastern Europe Foundation, within the framework of the implementation of the Swiss-Ukrainian program "Electronic governance for government accountability and community participation" (EGAP program), announces a competition for the position of an English-speaking writer.

Obov responsibilities:

Writer under the guidance of the communication manager of the EGAP Program:

• will prepare articles, press releases and communication materials in various formats that highlight the key activities and results of the EGAP Program;
• will offer the topics of the Eastern Europe Fund and the EGAP Program to Ukrainian and international media, will accompany Ukrainian and foreign media in the creation of communication materials;
• will prepare abstracts for speeches and presentations by representatives of the Eastern Europe Foundation and the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine;
• will prepare content for social networks — Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram;
• will collect success stories, interview users of our services and publish content on the websites of the EGAP Program and the Eastern Europe Foundation ;
• will set a task for the designer to prepare visuals for communication materials; 
• will edit and proofread English-language materials of the EGAP Program; 
• will perform other tasks of the communications manager.

Qualification requirements:< /strong>

• High level of English language proficiency (not lower than C1).
• Proficiency in Ukrainian.
• Excellent writing skills in English.
• Three years of experience in the same position. 
• Literacy and attention to detail.
• Ability to study, analyze and structure information and perform tasks according to deadlines.
• Communications experience in IT, public or government sector would be an advantage.
