Inthis role, you will: Plan and agree onengineering activities and tasks/project priorities, approve itwithPM and Senior Engineering Manager Manage team work byplanning and prioritizing engineering backlog, clarifying tasks, monitoring progress, and eliminating blockers aimed toestablish effective efforts, coordination, and delivery Identify and cope with cross-team/functional dependencies and risks with other teams and Services toeliminate blockers inthe value delivery process Maintain proper team performance and provide team guidance, identify skill gaps, and support employees’ professional development Keep team processes effective and reasonable inorder tosupport team cooperation and delivery Responsible for implementation and integration oftechnical solutions, new approaches, ordevelopment processes onateam level aligned with Company/Product approaches, incorporating security requirements and actively driving security into the product stream development life cycle Participate inProduct-wide/Company-wide engineering projects aimed toimprove business value and/or development and delivery Own team’s engineering metrics (DX) and seek toimprove them Conduct regular operational processes for Team employees: hiring, time-off approval, training, development and salary review, dismissal, and others aligned with company practices and policies Skills you’ll need tobring: Background inengineering/Team Lead role/technical leadership Experience inguiding teams through planning, prioritization, and execution ofwork Experience ofworking with billing, payment side ofthe product orfinance domain Proven track record ofworking with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Upper-Intermediate English Asaplus: Experience ofworking asanEngineering Manager PHP skills Experience ofworking with 3d-party vendors What weoffer: Weare aUkrainian company, and westand with Ukraine against russian aggression Wemaintain workplaces and salaries for the mobilized Macpawians and provide financial support tocolleagues ortheir families affected bythe war.
