At AMO Apps, we are currently looking for an Engineering Manager for our Health & Fitness apps to lead the building of teams and processes for our new services.

What you will achieve in this position:

• Build a team and manage the full SDLC
• You will work with various metrics and improve the engineering Delivery product processes
• You will automate key parts of services (testing, deployment time, etc.)
• You will be able to continue your technical and managerial development
• Together with the team, you will become part of the historic creation of new services for our products

For this you will need:

• More than 7 years of general experience in IT
• More than 4 years of experience in a functional position (BackEnd Engineer, FrontEnd Engineer, AQA Engineer, DevOps Engineer etc)
• More than 3 years of experience in managing technical teams ( Team Lead, Engineering Manager etc)
• Experience in leading teams of more than 10 engineers
• Knowledge of SDLC, DevOps principles and development methodologies
• Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions to different teams (tech or nontech)

Your manager will be Zhenya, our Head of Engineering , who has been in development for over 9 years and over 5 years in AMO. He came to the company in the media department, later moved to the Health & Fitness department as a Backend Engineer, and worked with the team on the first release of Unimeal for Mobile. Went from Backend Engineer to Head of Engineering (Team Lead, Engineering Manager, Head) and helped teams at key stages of product development from idea to scaling. In 4 years of operation, the engineering team has grown to more than 50 people. Zhenya is looking for a person in the team who is an experienced leader, able to effectively manage cross-functional teams, cooperate with product teams, and has good breadth of knowledge to understand all aspects of the system's operation.
