We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology.

You will be developing a UK-leading mobile-first integrated platform designed to streamline HR and Payroll processes. This platform offers a user-friendly interface, real-time functionality, and comprehensive integration.

As the Engineering Manager, you will serve as a vital link between our Poland and UK-based teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, effective communication. Whilst this is a hands-off role you will be using your experience as a technical contributor to help your team make decisions and attain the best outcomes. 

Additional requirements:

  • The role requires travelling to the UK once per month for a whole week to collaborate with the UK-based team and stakeholders. 

Skills & qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software professionals. 
  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development concepts and technologies. 
  • Good understanding of what software architecture looks like. 
  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies. 
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery best practices. 
  • Awareness of security requirements for handling sensitive information. 
  • A team-oriented individual with a passion for engineered excellence. 
  • A passion for innovation, people management, and improvement. 
  • You appreciate the importance of keeping a positive team and culture.

As the Engineering Manager, you will serve as a vital link between our Poland and UK-based teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, effective communication. Whilst this is a hands-off role you will be using your experience as a technical contributor to help your team make decisions and attain the best outcomes. 

,[Close cooperation with Polish-based teams: lead and manage a team of software engineers and testers, providing guidance, mentoring and coaching. , Ensure best practices in Software Development are maintained. , Ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of code and software architecture. , Monitor team performance and set performance goals, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing feedback. , Working with Scrum Masters to identify and address any issues or challenges faced by the team and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. , Drive a generative culture of high cooperation where learning is the heart of everything we do , Workclosely with the Product Design Team to manage the resources required, to achieve the product roadmaps considering recruitment, training and the acquisition of tools and frameworks in a timely fashion to avoid delays in delivery. , To be an advocate of the Agile development practices employed by the development function. , Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and seek opportunities to apply them to the team’s work. , Promote and develop a culture of continual improvement where Engineering teams are continually striving to be the best. , Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates on product progress and issues to manage expectations. ] Вимоги: Security Інструменти: .
