Engineering Lead, Infrastructure in Data Science UA

Over the past 7 years, we have diligently fostered the largest Data Science Community in Eastern Europe, boasting a network of over 30,000 AI top engineers.

Requirements:

- 6+ years of professional work experience in infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record of strategic leadership in infrastructure and DevOps.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- Strong hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure using technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor junior team members.

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, best practices, and security measures.

- Knowledge of Python

Responsibilities:

Strategic Infrastructure Leadership:

- Develop and implement a strategic vision for our infrastructure, considering new tools, technologies, and paradigms to enhance our systems.

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps practices, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.

Team Management and Coaching:

- Coach and manage junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional growth.

- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Collaboration and Optimization:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of infrastructure solutions.

- Continuously optimize infrastructure and resource usage for performance, cost-effectiveness, and security.

Monitoring and Security:

- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and respond to system issues.

- Ensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations by implementing security best practices and compliance measures.
