Currently, we are looking for a responsible and attentive NOC ENGINEER! Who are we? We are the company "EVENING TELECOM" — an Internet provider operating since February 2014 in the market of telecommunication services and communication. We work in Kyiv and have branches in Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi regions. Currently, there are more than 100 people in the team, and we continue to develop, expand our horizons and do not intend to stop. Functional duties: Monitoring of network equipment, servers and services of the company; Prompt response to emergency situations in the network; Informing responsible persons and units that interact directly with subscribers about emergency situations on the network; Information about scheduled network work; Setting up data transmission channels for corporate clients. Diagnostics, testing and troubleshooting; Maintenance of PON and Ethernet networks; Configuration of network equipment: initial and in operation; Testing of new equipment samples; Providing technical support for company employees; What is he, our ideal candidate: Have basic knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack ;Know the basics of switching and routing;Understand the principle of operation of Ethernet and PON networks;Be able to work with telnet, SSH, SNMP protocols;Know the principles of STP, LACP protocols;Be able to work with virtual networks - VLAN, QinQ;Have experience with Unix-like operating systems systems; The work schedule is variable: every other day, from 9:00 to 9:00.
