Charitable organization "Charitable Foundation "NEW WAY" is a non-profit non-governmental organization that works in the field of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. Our main direction is the implementation of projects in the areas of housing restoration, health care, water, sanitation and hygiene.

For the implementation of projects to provide assistance in the field of housing restoration, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, BF "NEW VEY" needs an employee for the position of Engineer with a place of work in m. Mykolaiv, with trips to the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

Responsibilities: 

• Conducting needs assessment and compilation of defect reports and estimated cost of works;
• Assist the customer of works in the collection of permit documentation for construction, obtaining technical conditions, the process of project examination, obtaining a permit to start construction of objects;
• Development of a detailed plan for the implementation and monitoring of the project, submission of a weekly work plan and report to the Project Manager;
• Conducting regular field trips to construction sites to ensure the quality of work, and providing consultations if necessary;
• Support of the work execution process at all stages of project implementation, supervision of construction works interacting with the Project Manager;
• Control of compliance with safety regulations at construction sites;
• Coordination activities with other projects;
• Development of partnership relations between the organization and local governing bodies, as well as humanitarian organizations for the implementation of the project;
• Ensuring the implementation of the project in accordance with the legislation and state building regulations, guaranteeing the application standards in each specific case.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the field of architecture, construction or having relevant professional experience at least 3 years;
• Understanding the process of project documentation coordination at all stages of examination, having experience of documentation coordination in supervisory bodies, DIAM will be an advantage;
• Experience in drawing up volumes of robots/defective act; 
• Experience of supervising construction works;
• Desirable experience of working in the context of humanitarian response;
• Experience of communication with representatives of government bodies is an advantage; 
• Confident PC user, knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office;
• Communication;
• Ability to work in a team.
