Engineer for the integration of communication and video transmission systems (Embedded/Linux/UAV) in NDA Recruitment

The company is looking for an Engineer for the integration of communication and video transmission systems (Embedded / Linux / UAV), who has a deep understanding of the operation of radio systems, video broadcasting and Linux-oriented equipment, and also knows how to combine different technologies into a single stable engineering ecosystem. This is a role for a specialist who thinks technically, understands how the system works "under the hood", and is able to integrate, configure and optimize complex solutions - from wireless channels to on-board SBCs and ground stations.

Responsibilities:

• Integration and configuration of video broadcast systems (analog, digital), communication (ELRS, TBS Crossfire, LoRa), on UAVs, UGVs, on ground stations and repeaters
• Commissioning of ready-made radio modules and coordination of network communication between them
• Configuration and optimization of equipment on SBC (Raspberry Pi and others) based on Linux
• Integration of various technologies and solutions into a single working system or network
• Testing, video recording of tests and system logs
• Conducting tests (latency, bandwidth, signal/noise)
• Identification and elimination of typical problems in the operation of radio modules
• Preparation of documentation for commissioning the system
• Cooperation with other engineers

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer, Hardware Engineer or similar
• Experience in working with radio and wireless communication systems based on Linux
• Experience in working with web interfaces, basic understanding of Linux utilities: network, SSH, Systemd, ps, iperf, wireshark
• Experience in configuring IP addresses, mask, checking frequencies, encryption keys, other network and hardware parameters
• Knowledge of Ethernet protocols, TCP/IP, QoS assessment Python (serial, socket, pytetst)
• Experience in working with: Gstreamer, Codecs, FFmpeg
• Higher technical education

Will be a plus:

• Experience in link performance testing: bandwidth, jitter, latency, BER, SNR
• Knowledge of Link Budget calculation principles and coverage verification
• Setting up ground stations (QGC, MissionPlanner) Practical experience setting up autopilots (Betaflight, ArduPilot, INAV)
• Understanding the principles of electromagnetic compatibility and immunity to interference
• Interest in research and integration of new communication solutions, elimination of problems arising from the coordination of various network components
