Engineer for technical support and control of fixed services in Kyivstar/Kiyivstar

Temporary positionThe purpose of the position: To ensure the provision of high-quality fixed telecommunication services provided to the Company's business subscribers in accordance with the requirements of approved procedures and instructions. Main activities and actions: Considers problem letters of key business subscribers, performs in-depth technical analysis, if necessary, appoints a responsible working group or groups of specialists for carrying out emergency and recovery works. Carries out dispatching between responsible working groups of specialists for emergency recovery work. Organizes and coordinates emergency recovery work at radio-electronic facilities (wireless methods of information transmission: RRL, WiMax, WiFi, GSM fix term, etc.), on linear cable networks. Solves the problems of TOP-2000 category corporate clients related to inclusion through Partners and client equipment. Involves in the work and coordinates the resolution of client problems by specialized units of the technical directorate. Provides assistance to regional engineers in solving problems with complex inclusion schemes, organization of testing communication channels. Manages the actions of subcontractors: monitors the operation of network and client equipment, provides assistance in setting up the equipment. Considers the possibility of corrective actions on the CS network and/or issues recommendations to the client on the configuration of client equipment. Maintains work documentation for the support of technical incidents , makes the necessary changes to databases in a timely manner. Makes proposals for improving technological procedures and work interaction. Qualification requirements for candidates: Higher or secondary specialized education in the field of telecommunications, or related professional fields. It is desirable to have work experience in the field of technical support of telecommunication systems. Know general principles of the technological construction of modern telecommunication networks. Desirable: to have skills in the operation of engineering telecommunications equipment (network or client). Technical English: the ability to work with English-language technical documentation.
