Engineer for setting up and testing switching systems in Kyivstar/Kiyivstar

Temporary position

Purpose of the position:

Implementation of plans for the development of hardware and software of switching networks of PJSC "Kyivstar" ( hereinafter - the Company).

Main functional duties:

• conducts audits and approves prepared based on the results of inspections of switching sites, technical documentation regarding the construction and development (installation, expansion, modernization, decommissioning, dismantling) of elements of switching networks;
• conducts commissioning and acceptance tests, performs initial setup of equipment during installation (expansion, relocation) elements of switching networks;
• performs work on installing new software and software corrections on elements of switching networks;
• performs work on implementing new services and functionalities on elements of switching networks; 
• supports work on the implementation of new services and functionalities on elements of switching networks (in the case of work carried out by the technical support service of the supplier);
• performs the settings of the statistics system and traffic measurement of elements of switching networks. >

Qualification requirements for candidates:

• higher education in the field of telecommunications, information technologies or electronics;< /li>
• knowledge of basic modern telecommunications and IT technologies, standards, protocols;
• PC: experienced user of Microsoft Windows and Linux OS families, knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure; 
• knowledge in the direction of cloud technologies is desirable;
• English basic (pre-intermediate level).
