Energy market analyst Duties: Formation of short-, medium- and long-term macro forecasts (on a quarterly and annual basis) of Ukraine. Analysis of informational, statistical and analytical resources (Ukrainian and foreign) regarding the functioning of: - state sector of Ukraine, - financial and real sectors of the economy of Ukraine and European countries, - energy (first of all, electric energy) and fuel markets of Ukraine and neighboring EU countries, etc. Requirements: Higher education (system analysis/economics/finance/management/international economic relations/mathematics/statistics/cybernetics). Successful work experience of 3 years or more as an analyst and/or specialist in macro-forecasting in specialized state, analytical and/or energy institutions of Ukraine. Basic knowledge of macro- and microeconomics (primarily, at the level of energy and electric power enterprises). Skills and ability to prepare analytical materials and their presentation. Skills and ability to forecast macroeconomic indicators (using various methods and approaches). Skills and ability to forecast energy markets. Knowledge of current Ukrainian and European primary and secondary legislation that regulates activities in the field of energy. Experience in the evaluation of investment projects (their support) and/or in the development of development strategies or business plans for large companies or holdings will be an advantage.
