DRB is currently looking for a Humanitarian Response Program Manager weight: 400; font-style: normal">who will join the team in the city of Kharkiv.
This position is open to national and international candidates. span>
Main purpose of the position
< li style="font-weight: 400">Develop and manage the DRC Mobile Emergency Response Team, provide vision, leadership and direction to the DRC Humanitarian Team. li>- Lead the delivery of direct humanitarian assistance and strengthen collaboration with response partners DRC in hard-to-reach areas in eastern Ukraine (Kharkiv and Donetsk regions).
- < span style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal">Represent DRC in relevant humanitarian coordination processes, interacting with UN partners, INGOs and LNGOs and actively trying to shape the agenda according to priorities DRC and humanitarian priorities.
- In addition, present programs to partners and authorities, promote reputation and portfolio expansion DRC.
Your main duties in the position will be:
Humanitarian Portfolio Management DRC
- Supervision of the quality of current and proposedof updated projects
- Ensuring compliance of current and proposed projects within the competence of the program department DRC span>
- Ensuring that positions are filled and projects are completed on schedule
- Development of clear lines of communication between project personnel and by partners
- Development of tools and processes to collect, share and implement lessons learned and best practices to inform and improve the quality of programming.
- Strategy development and resource mobilization
Emergency assessment leadership and coordination in DRC
- Update and support narrative about DRC based on a changing context
- Updating global humanitarian proposals with integrated contingency plans
< /ul>Advocacy, coordination and representation
- Represent DRC in the relevant national authorities

< p>The position reports to: Area ManagerAbout you:
To be successful in this position, we expect you to have at least 3 years of project/program management experience and at least 3 years of people management experience. In addition In addition, we also expect the following from you:
- Skills and experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, analysis and evaluation of projects/programs
- Fundraising, budget management and reporting/accountability/donor compliance skills
- Experience working in complex emergency situations or in complex security environments, as well as within the framework of a security management system.
- Calm and diplomatic character.
- Experience in building the capacity of staff and local partners
- Ability to prepare project proposals in a timely mannerand high-quality reports
- Full professional command of the English language (knowledge of Ukrainian language can be an advantage)
We offer:
Contract duration: 12 months
Level: F2 managerial
Place of work: Kharkiv, with constant business trips to Donetsk region.
Start date: June 2024
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Conditions of Employment of Danish staff Council for Refugees in Ukraine.
