KEY ROLE:
As an Embedded Software Java Engineer, you will become a contributing member of a software engineering team, focused on the development of customer visible features on a state-of-the-art display on CNHi next generation controllers. The software you assist in the development of will control various functions of CNHI tractors, sprayers and harvesters and enable a wide range of features.

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in an embedded software development using Java.
- Solid understanding of Linux operating system architecture.
- Experience using development tools such as Git, Maven, Gerrit, Jenkins.
- Experience in development of applications interfacing with SQL databases like PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with ORM tools such as Hibernate.
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
- Optionally, knowledge of other languages such as C++ will also be welcome.
- Experience in performing analysis, design and testing. General Business
- Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions. Able to define critical project criteria to ensure project completion.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and sockets programming
- Experience using Agile (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) software development processes.
- Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and leadership staff.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
