Croatian Refugee Council (NRC)is an independent humanitarian non-governmental organization founded in 1946. We provide assistance, protect the rights and contribute to solving the problems of refugees, internally displaced persons and other persons affected by armed conflict. NRC began its activities in Ukraine at the end of 2014, supporting people affected by the conflict in the east of the country. We are now increasing our efforts in Ukraine and neighboring countries to provide assistance to people forced to flee their homes due to war.
We are looking for Training Project Manager strong> to the main office in the country, which will support our team in Kyiv.
General duties:
- Promoting the development of country, district and CC strategies, participating in the development of relevant CC projects.
- Coordinating and managing the implementation of projects in the field of education (educational activities in emergency situations, procurement and project documentation) in accordance with proposals, strategies and requirements of donors.
- Development and management of the project budget in cooperation with the education coordinator and other CC.
- Providing regular progress reports to the Program Manager and CC Specialist.
- Ensuring that projects are aimed at the most needy recipients, research and evaluation of new and better ways to help.
- Establishing communication and cooperation with relevant local authoritiesand other key parties.
- Promote the rights of internally displaced persons/returnees in accordance with the strategy of promoting interests.
- Actively promote the standards and principles of PES (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) within the NRC and among recipients of NRC services.
- Ensuring that projects are directed to the most needy recipients, research and evaluation of new and better ways of assistance.
Specific duties:
- Scaling up the educational response at the regional level under the technical guidance of an education specialist.
- Identifying new opportunities for programs, synergies with other CCs and partnerships.
- Implementation of technical guidance and ensuring high technical quality of projects.
- Ensuring the quality of programs and implementation of the NRC Safe and Inclusive Schools Program, guaranteeing the integration of gender and protective aspects, safety criteria and inclusive programming.
- Creation and management of educational projects at the regional level, in particular, taking into account all NRC work areas: non-formal education, formal education
- Providing leadership and support to the education team.
- Management of line activities and provision of professional development of project personnel and transfer of key skills. Adherence to NRC policies and procedures.
- Support the development of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, ensuring the implementation of M&E and active coordination to ensure monitoring exercises and accurate data collection and reporting.
- Initiating and conducting new education-related assessments at the regional level in collaboration with other CC project managers to ensure synergies and multi-sectoral responses.

- At least 3 years of experience in the position of implementing projects at the highest level in humanitarian context.
- Experience of working in difficult and unstable conditions.
- Technical expertise on education issues and understanding of minimum education standards.

- Вільне володіння англійською мовою, як письмово, так і усно.

- Experience in the formation and scaling of education in emergency situations, including assessment, development of response strategies.

- Experience in using ICT tools in conducting assessments, analysis, documentation and reporting.

We offer:
- Official employment, employment contract until the end of the year with the possibility of extension.
