We are looking for an Editor/ Proofreader of academic papers of our partner company Artesa to ensure the quality control of scientific papers written by our authors. Artesa is an international tech company that develops successful educational products in European markets. We create high-quality essays and help students free up time for something more important. We work in the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Here are some things you should know about us: Artesa was founded in 2020. Since then, we have become the only profitable German company in our niche of the DACH market. The initial investment in the company was 250 euros, but in 4 years we reached a turnover of one million euros. Our goal is to be the largest company in the world working in the non-English Essay niche. What tasks will need to be done? Checking the works of our authors for the quality of writing. Assessment of compliance of the work with the client's requirements. Assessment of citation accuracy and bibliography formatting. Definition of the author's use of scientific sources. Detection of any stylistic, spelling or grammatical errors, etc. Correction of errors in the list of works. What do we expect from you? A high level of written German (level B2-C1) is mandatory. Strong communication skills, excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Attention to detail. Availability of higher education (master's degree or higher). It will be a plus: experience of writing scientific papers, as a result, understanding of the principles of writing such papers, understanding of different citation formats (MLA, APA, Harvard, Chicago, etc.) or experience of teaching in the German/Austrian educational system. What are the stages of selection? Stage 1: communication with the recruiter. 2nd stage: test task. 3rd stage: interview.
