Editor-in-Chief in KOSMO

OVERVIEW

We assist tech professionals and entrepreneurs in crafting compelling cases to secure Talent Visas. 

As the Editor in Chief, you will lead the writing team, ensuring the highest quality of materials we prepare. You will be responsible for the development of client case strategy and profile positioning. You will oversee the preparation of evidence documents to satisfy the criteria of the admissions committee and the creation of letters of recommendation, personal statements, and CVs ensuring they match high-quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management

- Manage writers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output.
- Develop and implement standards, guides, processes, and supporting materials to maintain consistency and excellence in all written materials.

Editorial Oversight

- Review and edit personal statements, CVs, and letters of recommendation to ensure clarity, coherence, and persuasiveness.
- Ensure all documents meet the highest standards of writing and adhere to client-specific and program requirements.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with an account manager to request and gather detailed information about clients' projects, companies, and professional achievements.
- Coordinate the work of multiple writers working on the same project.

Research and Analysis

- Oversee the research process to gather relevant information about clients, their projects, and recommenders.
- Analyze and interpret gathered data to craft compelling narratives that highlight clients' achievements.

Quality Assurance

- Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to program requirements.
- Provide final approval on all written materials before submission to clients.


REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Skills

- Proven experience as an Editor in Chief, Senior Editor, or similar role.
- Exceptional English writing and editing skills, with proficiency at a C2 level.
- Strong analytical, structuring, and storytelling abilities.
- Understanding of the digital technology industry; ability and willingness to dive and explore the context.

Leadership Abilities

- Strong leadership, team management and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
