- Analyze, conceptualize, develop, and execute EDI processes, catering to both new and existing EDI clientele.- Oversee the daily operations of EDI processes, ensuring optimal performance, integrity, and quality.- Engage in intricate system design and programming tasks essential for project completion, as sanctioned by management.- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders within specific functional domains of the business.- Provide technical guidance to fellow team members as required, serving as a subject matter expert.- Install and configure the technical framework, including all interfaces linking BPCS EDI with external trading partners.- Lead initiatives supporting EDI technical domains and contribute to other projects as directed by the ERP Systems Manager.- Execute assigned projects according to directives from the ERP Systems Manager.- Generate comprehensive systems documentation adhering to current IT standards for new applications, updating legacy documentation following system modifications.Qualifications:- At least 5 years of hands-on EDI experience, demonstrating proficiency in core EDI standards (X12, Edifact, XML), particularly within cross-platform environments and utilizing manufacturing-centric EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 856, 810, 855, 860, 997, etc.).- Proficiency in utilizing the GXS TLI (TrustedLink iSeries) Application Suite for translation purposes.- Competence in utilizing the BizManager400 communication and development portal.- Familiarity with diverse protocols is highly desirable, including FTP, FTPS, AS2.- Experience in Systems & Programming, with expertise in RPG/400, CLP, SQL, Query/400, SDA, SEU, PDM, DDS, and ILE Concepts is advantageous (training available for suitable candidates).- Understanding of IBM i-Series architecture (hardware & software).- Exposure to BPCS ERP systems is advantageous.- Minimum of 2-3 years of client-facing experience, including leading meetings and gathering requirements.- Proven ability to address support calls within a high-visibility environment.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Commitment to a long-term assignment, with a minimum duration of one year.
