JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Ecommerce Manager at Astral Health & Beauty plays a pivotal role on the Digital team in optimizing our digital marketing efforts. This role’s primary focus will be driving the success of our online sales channels, overseeing the development, execution, and optimization of our ecommerce strategies. The Ecommerce Manager should be results-driven with a strong track record in ecommerce management. This role will report to the Director of Ecommerce. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEcommerce Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies to drive sales, customer acquisition, and retention across multiple online channels.Platform Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), ensuring a seamless and optimized customer experience from browsing to checkout.Oversee website merchandising, including product categorization, content updates, and optimization of product pages for SEO and user experience.Monitor and optimize the customer journey, from landing pages to checkout, identifying and resolving any barriers to conversion.Data Analysis: Analyze ecommerce metrics and performance data, identifying trends and insights to optimize conversion rates, average order value, and overall revenue.Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and product teams, to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns on the e-commerce platforms. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to suggest and implement innovative e-commerce strategies and tools. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.Proven experience in ecommerce management or related roles, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or fashion industries.Proven track record of driving ecommerce sales and achieving revenue targets.Expertise in managing and optimizing ecommerce platforms such as Shopify.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance.Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams to execute ecommerce strategies.Knowledge of SEO, user experience best practices, and conversion rate optimization techniques.Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
