WASH Program Assistant in Samaritan`s Purse

"Samaritans Perse" is a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization, the purpose of which is to provide spiritual and physical assistance to affected people around the world.  Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has been helping to provide for the needs of people who have become victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease and famine, seeking to spread God's love through God's Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church around the world, preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Position description

WASH Program Assistant will work and support the drinking water (WASH) program in the regional office of Samaritan's Purse Ukraine. The main responsibilities of the assistant include supporting the WASH program documentation and reporting. 

Job Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with the Department Manager (PM), Coordinator (PC) and Specialist (PO) to understand tasks and priorities. 
• Create, share and/or collect partnership agreements and charity transfer invoices to ensure compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
• Ensure review and update of all WASH department data, including agreements, for accurate progress tracking, monitoring and record keeping. 
• As requested, assist in writing timely, quality monthly reports, evaluation reports, quarterly reports, and summary reports. 
• Communicate professionally with partners upon request. 
• Adhere to Samaritan's Purse policies and procedures as defined in the organization's Rules and Policies.
• Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of surveys, evaluations, trainings, and other WASH program activities.
• Other duties not specifically listed in the job description may be assigned by the Project Manager as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and/or 1-2 years of work experiencein the field of administration, law or international relations

Language

Mandatory knowledge of the Ukrainian language, knowledge of the English language will be an advantage. Ability to read and understand documents in English and Ukrainian. Ability to make current reports and conduct correspondence in Ukrainian and English.

Ability to think logically

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with different specific variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of written and oral instructions, diagrams or graphics.

Working hours:

8:30-17:00, MON-FRI

The start of the contract is February 15, 2026
