Drafter in Actalent

Description:Create, revise, and maintain CAD drawings, models, plant layouts, and tooling designs from verbal directions, hand drawn sketches and existing hard copy tool drawings using SolidWorks, Autocad, and other design software. Ability to understand concept and design to work with other engineers. Work from sketches, prints, and notes to create CAD models of tooling and components. Perform dimensional layout as required to model an already existing detail in order to create supporting tools, fixtures, etc. Create complete working drawings from CAD models. Revise existing tool drawings. Create and update plant drawings. Maintain updated CAD software and procedures for using the CAD system. Maintain accurate drawing files, records, tool number lists, and tool list.
