Job DescriptionDLM is seeking a talented and experienced Metal Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal design and fabrication, with a passion for creating unique and visually stunning pieces. As a Metal Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the production of metal pieces for a variety of projects.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal team members to understand project requirements and develop design concepts. Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and 3D models of metal designs. Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project, taking into consideration budget, functionality, and aesthetic. Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that designs are produced accurately and according to specifications. Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, and incorporate them into designs and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Metalworking, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal design and fabrication. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Strong understanding of different types of metal and their properties. Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a strong eye for design.
