The All-Ukrainian Association of Local Government Bodies "Association of Cities of Ukraine" (hereinafter - AMU) announces a competition to fill the vacant position director of the Municipal Recovery Center (hereinafter - Center).

The Center is a structural subdivision of the Executive Directorate of the Association of Cities of Ukraine, which works to create conditions for the recovery of territorial communities of Ukraine, provides representatives of local self-government bodies with expert support and conducts training events to improve the qualifications of representatives of local self-government related to recovery.
Working conditions:termemployment contract, full-time, place of work - AMU office in Kyiv.< strong>
Main duties of the candidate:
- coordination of the activities of the Center's employees and involved regional consultants, setting tasks and monitoring activities and achieving results;
- cooperation with the Analytical Center of AMU on issues of restoration of territorial communities of Ukraine;
- systematization of proposals (needs) of bodies of local self-government regarding amendments to the current legislation and preparation of new legislation, submitted to the Analytical Center of AMU;
- monitoring of regulatory acts prepared by state authorities and other institutions in terms of the restoration of territorial communities;
- li> coordination of work on the preparation of projects of legislative and regulatory acts aimed at improving the legislative regulation of the activities of local self-government bodies and their submission to the Analytical Center of AMU;
- participation in working groups on recovery issues;
- evaluation and approval of documents developed by the Center's experts;
- preparation of reports on the Center's activities for the donor;
- preparation of proposals for the Center's annual activity plans;
- participation in the organization and implementation of projects implemented by AMU.
Main requirements for the candidate:
- higher education in the fields of law, economics or public administration; >deep knowledge of local self-government legislation;
- previous experience of working in local self-government bodies or with local self-government bodies (will be an advantage);
- ability to systematize and structure information, interpret statistical indicators;
- ability to work with large volumes of information;
- skills for preparing conclusions, reviews, analytical notes, methodical and educational materials;
- experience in conducting trainings and webinars ;
- excellent knowledge of the state language;
- proficiency in English at the B2 level (will be an advantage);
- readiness for business trips in Ukraine and abroad;

- work experience in management positions for at least 3 years (will be an advantage);
- PC skills.
