Director of supply chain management of NEC "Ukrenergo" is responsible for the development and support of an effective and transparent procurement system in order to facilitate the implementation of the Company's strategic plans, and as well as plans for operational and investment activities. The Director of Supply Chain Management in his activities is guided by the legislation of Ukraine, corporate policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and the Compliance Policy.

 Basic tasks:

• Formation of the purchasing strategy, coordination of the interaction of the Company's structural divisions during the process of planning the need for goods, works and services, in particular, taking into account inventory management;
• Control of correctness, timeliness and legality all stages of procurement, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement";
• Coordination of work on planning, grouping and optimization of procurement;
• Coordination of audit and certification of compliance of procurement processes with international standards;
• Development of category management and formation of the Company’s category strategies;
• Performance of analysis of needs for material and technical resources and services, organization of the planning process for meeting these needs, management of the formation of consolidated supply plans and purchases of material and technical resources and services for the purpose of implementing optimal ways of security, as well as the timely organization of procurement procedures for the selection of optimal suppliers;
• Ensuring the business planning process in terms of the formation of planned prices based on the analysis of the market for goods and services;
• Organizing the implementation of supply plans and procurement of material and technical resources and services for the purpose of full, timely and high-quality provision of production and investment activities;
• Control of the implementation of the plan and the fact of expenses;
• Ensuring the development, implementation and control of compliance with uniform standards regulatory documentation in the field of supply system management, with the aim of promoting the effective conduct of operational and investment activities and the rational use of resources;
• Ensuring the process of development and implementation of measures to improve the efficiency of the processes of providing material and technical resources and services;

• Ensuring the process of optimization and technical standardization of needs in material and technical resources and services;
• Ensuring the analysis of the market of goods and services;
• Participating in the examination of relevant applications and justifications in order to determination of their economic feasibility and ability to meet needs;
• Ensuring the development and improvement of the efficiency of relations with suppliers;
• Participation in the evaluation of the commercial component of suppliers' proposals and, if necessary, participation in the negotiation process with potential suppliers in order to obtain the most favorable conditions for the Company;
• Ensuring the development and implementation of effective mechanisms for detecting violations and deficiencies that may arise in the procurement process;
• Ensuring the development and implementation of a control and reporting system in order to effectively manage the procurement process, as well as a system of cost consolidation, technical standardization with the aim of the most effective use of funds and minimizing risks associated with the supply system;
• Ensuring operational monitoring of the performance of contracts by suppliers in order to adopt operational corrective measures solutions to provide the Company with timely and high-quality supply of material and technical resources and services;
• Management of the procurement team, development of competencies and training of specialists, participation in the selection, retention and motivation of the team, control of compliance of the organizational structure with changes in processes and supply and procurement systems;
• Ensuring and supporting cross-functional interaction between departments throughout the procurement process;
• Establishing common standards of interaction throughout the supply chain and evaluating their effectiveness;
• Formation of logistics strategy, coordination of activities for the implementation of long-term, current and operational plans of logistics strategy.

Requirements:

• Higher education (economic/legal/financial);
• Availability of additional education: training/courses on public procurement in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine; availability of a certificate of an authorized person;

• Experience ofexperience in a managerial position for at least 5 years;
• Experience in the field of procurement - at least 7 years, of which in the field of public procurement - at least 2;
• Experience of working as an "Authorized person" or a member of the tender committee (chairman/secretary) will be an advantage;
• Knowledge of current legislation and regulatory acts in the field of procurement;
• Ability to argue, convince and achieve constructive decisions;
• Ability to delegate authority with timely monitoring of execution;
• Proficiency in English (level not lower than B1);
• High level of management skills, ability to build effective teams , including through cross-functional interaction;
• Professional and ethical competence;
• Flawless business reputation.
