Store director in Marathon

Marathon is a Ukrainian retail chain with a 28-year history. We are among the TOP-5 Ukrainian retailers in the "goods for active recreation" category and work with global brands: Jack Wolfskin, ASICS, Adidas, Nike, Puma, Under Armor and others. Today we have 18 stores and this is just the beginning. We are opening 5 more this year, and 10 more next year. The plans for the next 3 years include scaling up to 50 stores in Ukraine.

We are looking for a store director - a manager who is ready to take responsibility for the store's team and performance.

What will be in the job

• Lead the store to meet planned maintenance and KPI indicators, understand why numbers grow, and be able to influence it every day.
• Form a strong team Recruit, hire, develop and retain high performers. The team is not a "resource" for you, but a key tool for achieving the plan.
• Work with sales analytics. Seeing not just numbers, but patterns, causes of slumps and growth points. Make decisions based on data, not intuition.
• Ensure merchandising standards are met. Understand how the layout and presentation of the product affect sales, control photo reports and bring standards to the result.
• Work deeply with the product. Orientate yourself in categories and assortment, understand what sells, what "hangs" and why, react to changes in a timely manner.
• Build customer service that brings back customers. To create an atmosphere of the store that you want to come back to again, and a team that knows how to work with the client, and not just serve.
