Company:Vitagro Agroholding actively invests in the development of a vertically integrated livestock and processing sector, launches a meat processing industrial park and opens the position of Director of a meat processing complex to manage the launch and further management of a new high-tech production enterprise with the following areas:

• Meat production pork
• Chicken meat production
• Meat processing (meat and sausage products and semi-finished products)
• Meat and bone meal production

• We focus on the market and discuss individually (stable part and bonus part) according to the level of remuneration.  
• Compensation for housing rent in the city of Volochysk (Khmelnytskyi region)

Purpose of the position

Starting and ensuring a stable, efficient and safe works of the meat processing industrial park.  with full responsibility for operational activities of all directions, production, production logistics, product quality. Compliance with regulatory requirements and administrative management of the industrial meat processing park.

Key areas of responsibility

Start-up and operational management

• Start-up and subsequent general management of production processes of areas
• production of pork meat (slaughter, deboning, processing, packaging, storage)
• production of chicken meat
• production of meat and sausage products and semi-finished products
• production of meat and bone meal

 Production

• Ensuring the implementation of production plans in terms of volumes, terms and cost.
• Optimization of production processes, increasing productivity and reducing losses.
• Control of the technical condition of equipment, planning of repairs and modernization.
• Management of production teams (head of shifts, shops, technologists).

Product quality and safety

• Full responsibility for the quality and safety management system of food products.
• Ensuring compliance with standards HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, veterinary and sanitary regulations, obtaining certificates for export of products to Europe BRCGS (BRC)
• Control of compliance with the requirements of the State Production and Consumer Service and other regulatory bodies.
• Management of internal and external audits, inspections, certifications.
• Analysis of complaints, implementation of corrective and preventive measures actions.

Administrative management

• General administrative management of the enterprise (production, quality, personnel, infrastructure).
• Formation and control of the enterprise budget.
• Management of personnel, payroll, discipline.
• Interaction with the central office, suppliers, contractors, controlling bodies.
• Ensuring compliance with labor legislation and internal company policiese.

Experience/knowledge/skills

• Experience of managing a meat processing enterprise or large food production from 5 years.
• Experience of launching new processing enterprises/shops. Experience with a start-up is desirable. Practical experience in the implementation and support of HACCP / ISO / FSSC systems, BRCGS, obtaining European safety certificates for the export of products BRCGS (BRC) Experience in team formation and management of large production teams (100+ employees). Higher education (food technologies, veterinary medicine, engineering or related areas)..
