The Director of Logistics will lead and ensure the plant is manufacturing and distributing Legrand products in a timely, safe, and efficient manner to meet customer expectations. The Director of Logistics will have a continuous improvement mindset to drive goal attainment with operational needs, employee engagement, and financial metrics.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Logistic, Business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain is requiredMBA is highly desirable10+ years of distribution or logistics experience with a minimum of 5 years of managing other managers and supervisors.3+ years of demonstrated excellent leadership and project management experience.Experience with design and layout of distribution facilities and best-in-class operationsKnowledge of LEAN operating principles, Continuous improvement in a leadership roleProven ability to measure and perform against internal and external industry standardsExperienced change agent possessing the strategic, analytical, and teamwork skills needed to drive major commercial decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders.Main Job Duties:Organization: Organizational Leader competency modelMain Interface: Warehouse and manufacturing personnel, contract labor vendors, site leaders, sales leaders, customer service and purchasing teams, and carrier contacts. Reports to Sr. Director of Logistics.Budget: Direct management of $20M+ budget.
