Who we’re looking for

OpenMinds is seeking a skilled and resourceful Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team, focusing on innovative marketing tools to counter propaganda in hard-to-reach regions such as authoritarian countries and conflict zones.

This is a truly unique role and an opportunity to support Ukrainian information resistance while combating the spread of authoritarian disinformation.

In this position, you will:

• Identify and develop non-obvious marketing channels, leveraging messengers, social media networks, and other digital platforms
• Build unconventional marketing funnels on platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, and through affiliate ad networks
• Analyse marketing metrics to gauge campaign success and make data-driven decisions
• Create and execute affiliate marketing strategies
• Collaborate closely with our communication department to ensure information initiatives are alined with the broader organisational goals

We are a perfect match if you have:

• Strong proficiency in any performance marketing channel, including campaign setup, management, and optimisation — 1.5+ years of experience
• Proven experience in navigating and leveraging non-traditional marketing channels (Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.)
• Deep understanding of marketing metrics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent written and spoken English at a B2 level or higher
• Creativity in problem-solving and a knack for identifying unique marketing opportunities
