About the Product:

Localize is an Operating System for Real Estate (LocalizeOS) based on AI. It helps agents to amplify their reach, by AI connecting qualified buyers. Its proactive technology is transforming how real estate brokerages, teams, and agents operate. Leveraging its proprietary Al-based conversational engine and Machine Learning, the Operating System seamlessly automates traditional tasks like profiling, qualifying, sending out relevant listings, and following up from first outreach to closing.

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to join our R&D team. You will be leading the DevOps team and will be responsible to build, maintain and monitor the infrastructure of our products. Our applications run on AWS and our architecture is mainly micro-service based and uses Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, management and orchestration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a DevOps team of 2 engineers, reporting to VP R&D
• Being a focal point for all DevOps activities in supporting new features and services, software releases and troubleshoot problems.
• Being responsible for building, maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure of the products
• Working closely with R&D team leaders and developers.
• Being responsible for availability, performance, monitoring, emergency response and capacity planning of the production environments
• Architect new solutions for challenging infrastructure and application problems we face with our unique product
• Combine latest open-source and commercial technologies to build and improve services
• Impact the business through technology and new ideas

Required Competence and Skills:

• 10+ years experience in DevOps area — Must
• At least 6 years of maintaining production environments — Must
• At least 4 years of experience as a Tech Lead/Team Lead — Must
• At least 6+ years of full hands-on experience with AWS, including bootstrapping and managing services — Must
• Strong knowledge in Linux environments — Must
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes — Must
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like (CircleCI,Jenkins,etc.) — Must
• Experience with alerting and monitoring ( Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager) — Must
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Chef or Puppet — Must
• Hands on experience with MongoDB, Redis and Relational databases — Advantage
• Hands-on experience with ElasticSearch & Kibana — Big Advantage
