About the Role:

We are seeking seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in managing application infrastructure. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure supporting our applications, ensuring seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain deployment processes for applications, ensuring efficient and error-free releases
• Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of applications
• Manage and maintain configuration settings for application components
• Implement and oversee configuration management tools to ensure consistency across environments
• Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance and health of applications and infrastructure
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of application infrastructure with other IT components
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents promptly
• You will work on an application based on a Linux server (On prem)
• You will have cross-product responsibility for CI/CD and the standard process

Required Tech Competence and Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer focusing on infrastructure, with expertise in Linux-based applications.
• Solid experience with any of IBM Applications for instance such as WebSphere, CICS, TXSeries or MQ
• Strong knowledge of the Docker platform (K8, OCP)
• Strong capability to troubleshoot complicated problem
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
