DevOps Engineer with Azure in SQRD.tech

Remote within the European Union (EU)

This project is designed to support our client's auditors by streamlining the processing of client data, reducing manual errors, and enabling automatic data standardization and validation. The application will be used by auditors and the delivery team, who will be responsible for promptly uploading client data (Funds) into Data Bridge, identifying any missing data, and notifying clients to submit late files and correct rejected or unvalidated data.

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, your main role will be to design and maintain architecture within the Azure Cloud. This includes deploying Azure Functions, SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory instances, and other Azure components using Terraform. You will also manage these deployments, ensuring they run smoothly and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Proficiency in Python is essential for this role to support the architecture.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of practical experience with Azure Cloud
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in Terraform
• Knowledge of Azure Repos, including branching, code reviews, and code analysis
• Skilled in Git, Git Flow, and Azure DevOps
• Ability to assess requirements and environments to recommend the best tools and technologies
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to provide solutions and workarounds
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Azure Functions
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Experience with SQL Server
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coding abilities
• Proficient in English

• Develop software to automate build and deployment processes to increase engineering efficiency
• Implement continuous deployment practices to enhance Agile methodology
• Design, develop, deploy, and improve CI/CD systems for cloud applications
• Create and manage continuous delivery pipelines for client test and production environments
• Provide system support by responding to monitoring alerts
• Stay informed about and implement Cloud and DevOps best practices and tools
• Collaborate with developers to automate the provisioning of necessary Azure resources
• Document automation procedures
• Troubleshoot CI/CD infrastructure issues (e.g., disk space, network problems)
