We are looking for a Linux administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

Stack:

• Build Tools: Gradle, npm, Maven
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation)
• Code Analysis: SonarQube
• Version Control: GitLab, GitHub
• Containerization: Docker, AWS ECR, GitLab Registry
• CI/CD: Jenkins or similar tools
• Server Management: Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx
• Cluster Management: Kubernetes

Must have:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Strong experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
• Experience setting up cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure automation tools.
• Strong experience with Linux commands, Linux administration, and writing bash scripts.
• Some exposure/familiarity with a micro-services architecture.
• Experience with networking, security, reliability and scalability concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including application-level security and system hardening
• Direct, hands-on experience with log monitoring and application monitoring. Also, with metrics gathering tools.
• Experience with load management.
• Strong comprehension of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies;
• Strong communicator fluent in both written and verbal English

Good to have:

• Experience in SaaS development

Responsibilities:

• Review and act on support escalations with software developers
• Monitor all production systems and act on any customer experience issues proactively
• Support 3rd party developers integrating with our web services
• Work with the Software Development team to incrementally improve production products & deployments
• Ensure all internal processes are properly documented
• Perform maintenance tasks and data exports
