DevOps Engineer (M3S) in Materialise

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our Medical department in order to implement DevOps solutions that automate and improve the development and release of our systems.

What you will do

• Implement DevOps solutions that automate and improve development and release processes
• Build a DevOps culture: join a team of DevOps experts to guide an organization through a transformational change by building strong relationships, ensuring cross-team communication and collaboration, empowering developers, operations, security, and development teams to improve their processes and shift the focus back on value production
• Participate in the development of cloud web-based solutions, writing documentation, and participating in the maintenance and support of software in production

Your profile

• 3+ years of software engineering and/or SRE experience
• Agile/scrum mindset, familiar with project management tools like JIRA, Miro, Azure DevOps (formerly TFS)
• Experience with implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar
• Hands-on experience with AWS and services such as EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch, ElasticSearch
• Experience with infrastructure code and tools such as Ansible, Terraform
• Scripting skills (Python or any shell)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail
• Team player in a multicultural environment
• You feel comfortable working in hybrid mode (remote from your home office and from the office in Kyiv)

Pluses

• Solid understanding of the development lifecycle of cloud-native applications in a micro-service architecture
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server, including system administration
• Experience in container technology like docker and its use for deploying applications as well as its use in CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge and preferably experience with observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing
