DevOps Engineer (IBM MQ) @ Crestt in Crestt

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with knowledge of IBM MQ for a banking client.

Location: remote (we expect some occasional work trips to Łódź, Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań – max 5 days per quarter. There is also a low possibility to have occasional trip somewhere in Europe

Rate: b2b: 140 – 180 PLN netto+vat/h

Stack: IBM MQ, Ansible, Puppet, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Soap, REST, Maven, Terraform; Nice2have: Cloud

• Fluent English
• At least 1 year of commercial experience with IBM MQ
• Experience with IBM MQ includes installation, configuration, and administration. Responsibilities involve creating, managing, and monitoring queues, channels, and other MQ objects, as well as troubleshooting MQ-related issues like message delivery errors.
• At least 4 years in a DevOps role , with hands-on expertise in implementing DevOps principles and practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, optimizing performance and ensuring smooth operations.
• Configuration Management: Extensive experience with tools like Ansible or Puppet, version control systems, dependency management (Maven), and artifact storage/distribution (Artifactory/Nexus).
• Continuous Integration & Delivery: Commercial experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for reliable software releases and disposable environments.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for scalable and efficient application deployment and management.
• IaC: Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Knowledge of SOAP/REST.
• Cloud experience will be a huge advantage
