We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team that designs and maintains a GitLab environment for an external customer. This environment is a central SCM platform with a few thousand active users. Our work involves administration, support, and development of integrations with the customer’s ecosystem. Our team operates globally across three main time zones, practicing the Follow-the-Sun model.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain the GitLab environment.
• Administer and manage GitLab configurations and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide advanced support and develop integrations with the customer’s ecosystem.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability of the GitLab environment.
• Automate routine tasks using tools like Ansible.
• Participate in on-call duties as part of the Follow-the-Sun support model.

General Key Competencies:

• Proficiency in English (ability to express technical topics clearly and discuss various technical subjects).
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Availability for on-call duties.

AO Related Key Competencies:

• Strong experience with Linux.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).

DevOps Key Competencies:

• General SCM (Source Code Management) knowledge.
• Proficiency in Git.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with GitLab.
• Programming skills in Python (optional Java).
