Weare Uvik Software— aleader insoftware development with aglobal presence inthe world market and wework with the world’s most successful companies. 🔎 Our company isgrowing again, and weare looking for anexperienced DevOps Engineer (AWS/GCP tojoin our team ofspecialists) Responsibilities: • Oversee the management and maintenance ofcloud infrastructure onAWS (preferably) orGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) toensure high availability, scalability, and security • Manage DevOps team toensure the highest standards ofteam performance • Architect, construct, and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, specifically EKS, for the seamless deployment and orchestration ofmicroservices • Collaborate closely with software development teams tooptimize the CI/CD pipeline and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools like ArgoCD, BitBucket, and Git • Develop and uphold infrastructure ascode (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt toautomate the provisioning and configuration ofcloud resources • Deploy and administer configuration management tools like Ansible toguarantee uniform and efficient deployment across various environments • Monitor system performance using platforms like Grafana, pinpoint potential bottlenecks, and proactively optimize and enhance overall system reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and deployment issues promptly • Participate inthe on-call rotation with the DevOps team, addressing alerts and incidents beyond regular business hours, including weekends once amonth and night shifts twice aweek • Stay abreast ofthe latest industry trends and best practices inDevOps, cloud computing, and containerization • Assist increating tailor-made architectures and deploying advanced services onthe cloud • Develop strategies for managing new projects effectively, considering the complexity ofthe product and the need for amulti-account AWS environment experience Requirements: • 3+years ofexperience asaDevOps Engineer orequivalent, with hands-on expertise inAWS (preferably) orGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)• Proficient incontainerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes and EKS, with atrack record ofmanaging containerized environments • Mastery ofinfrastructure automation using Terraform and Terragrunt for cloud resource provisioning • Profound understanding ofconfiguration management tools, especially Ansible • Solid grasp ofCI/CD concepts and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, BitBucket, and Git • Strong scripting skills inBash (required) and Python (aplus) for automation purposes • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana tomaintain system health and performance • Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices • Experience working inamulti-account AWS environment isamust • Adaptable and resilient mindset, capable ofadjusting priorities and embracing new challenges and technologies asbusiness needs evolve • Excellent problem-solving abilities, creative troubleshooting skills, and out-of-the-box thinking • Strong communication skills and ability tocollaborate within ateam-oriented environment • Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, orarelated technical field Weoffer: ✔️12 sick leaves and 18paid vacation business days per year ✔️Comfortable work conditions (including MacBook Pro and Dell monitor ineach workplace)✔️Smart environment ✔️Interesting projects from renowned clients ✔️Flexible work schedule ✔️Competitive salary according tothe qualifications ✔️Guaranteed full workload during the term ofthe contract ✔️Corporate leisure activities ✔️Game, lounge, sports zones.
