DevOps Engineer in GlobalLogic

Job Description:

• 3+ years of overall experience in installation/configuration testing, product support, and system administration
• Strong knowledge of Linux, network, Kubernetes, Bash-scripting
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of reliability, failover, and high availability aspects of the system
• Good understanding of different testing types, approaches, and techniques
• Intermediate and above English (written and spoken) for daily communication with design teams and project managers
   

Nice to have:

• Python knowledge
• Jenkins / Git / Gerrit experience
• Knowledge of IP networking
• Understanding of Agile or iterative development lifecycles
• BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field
   

Job Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure-related testing of the developed software that includes performing installation, upgrade and backup-restore procedures on several different hardware configurations (standalone, highly-available, geo-redundant)
• Troubleshooting of found issues and creating bug reports
• Tracking of the registered bugs: fix verification, documentation changes
• Perform functional/non-functional software testing manually (feature/fix verification) and executing different automated regression tests

Usability:

Multi-level tenancy with advanced tenant and quota management. Secure access and Federated IDAM. Dashboards for both Provider and Tenants. Reliability: Providing Infrastructure Assurance and Performance management. High availability and Geo-Redundancy of the software.

Agility:

Launch services quicker with automated service instantiation and configuration. SDKs and APIs enable quick multi-vendor integrations. Custom workflow framework provided for building specific automation flows. The product can be easily integrated into existing service provider OSS. 

Current GlobalLogic team includes 50+ engineers working on all of the components of the solution in end-to-end development flow, delivering new features and supporting already released product versions.
